This policy explains what information Folio collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What we collect
We collect account data such as name, email, hashed password, language and currency preferences; financial data you enter, including holdings, valuations, dates and notes; support communications; usage, device and technical data; and cookies. We do not store bank or brokerage login credentials, full card numbers, or government ID numbers. Payment details go directly to our payment provider.
3. Why we use it
We use data to provide the Service, authenticate accounts, process subscriptions, answer support requests, diagnose faults, improve the product, prevent fraud and abuse, send marketing emails where you consent, and meet tax, accounting and legal obligations. We do not sell personal data or use financial data for advertising profiles.
4. Who we share it with
We share data only with providers processing it for us, including Paddle.com Market Ltd for payment processing, cloud hosting and databases, market data providers, email providers and analytics providers. We may disclose data when legally required or during a merger or acquisition.
5. International transfers and retention
Providers may be in Brazil, the EU and the United States. We use safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses and mechanisms permitted by the LGPD and GDPR. Data is kept while your account is active; after deletion, portfolio and personal data are deleted within 30 days, except records required by law. Encrypted backups may persist up to 90 days.
6. Security and cookies
We use TLS, encryption at rest, hashed passwords, need-to-know access and administrative logs. Necessary cookies support login and security. Analytics cookies are used with consent where required, and can be blocked in your browser.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection, withdraw consent, and learn with whom data was shared. Email privacy@fuolio.com. We respond within 15 days under LGPD or 30 days where GDPR applies.
8. Children and contact
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. Privacy requests go to privacy@fuolio.com; general support goes to support@fuolio.com.
